Establishing a common ground
Even though our interpretation of the theme healing came from different places and thus differed in definition or focus, we managed to find common ground. In the collaboration and meetings this resulted in open communication and quick decision making.

Publications
After the initial classes, where we got to know each other and our standpoint within the theme, we gathered our personally inspiring publications. Here too was a large difference due to different major backgrounds.

Boardgame
We brainstormed about how to implement all of the gathered knowledge into a single publication form. Quite naturally, the categories of Questions, Statements, Quotes and Actions came into being. These ingredients mixed together seemed to go well into a boardgame.

Collaboration
After a collective creation meeting the initial idea was sketched out, and roles for further design were assigned. I took care of the rules and gameplay. This informed the necessary items to be designed (such as the board, symbols and cards).
Also the materialisation of the board (board+box in1) and playable characters (lasercut from plexiglass) was among my tasks.
What did I contribute/take away?
My aim in healing is using the connection with your body to feel more able to deal with mental stress.
The Action cards in our game were a great way to think about how to make people experience this connection with the body in a simple, approachable way.
The interaction with the user of a product, and how to stimulate this or let them engage, is what I aim for in my graduation project. The experience and this way of achieving it will help me better develop my end project.
